Bay Regional Medical Center is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Linen Associate to join our dedicated team at St. Peter's Hospital. This position is Part Time, working day shifts, providing you with the perfect balance between work and personal life.

As a Linen Associate in our healthcare organization, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our patients and staff. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will ensure that all linen supplies are properly processed, stored, and distributed throughout the hospital.

Responsibilities

As a Linen Associate, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting soiled linens from specified areas within the hospital.
  • Sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens following established procedures.
  • Inspecting and repairing linens as necessary.
  • Stocking linen supplies on patient care units.
  • Delivering clean linens to various departments.
  • Maintaining inventory levels and notifying supervisor of low stock.
  • Following infection control and safety guidelines.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare or hospitality setting preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.
