Ophthalmology offers a variety of treatment options and procedures.
Ophthalmologists on staff are trained and certified to care for infants as well as adults. Services are available on an inpatient and outpatient basis.

Ophthalmology: A Definition

Ophthalmologists attend at least eight years of medical school after receiving their bachelor's degree, and become educated in surgery and medicine of eye care. Ophthalmologists can also provide total eye care, including prescriptions for corrective lenses, and periodic monitoring of eye health. They may work closely with optometrists to provide a range of treatment options for patients.
